Preparing Before You Update to iOS 7
>By James Lenhart
Apple’s latest version of iOS is about to release, and we want to make sure you’re making minor preparations before upgrading to i0S 7. While we know a lot of you want to jump in and download it, we think it’s worth noting that any iPhone older than a 4 will not be supported. However, second generation iPads and newer will have no problem rolling with the 7. Here are two quick tips:
Clear Your Schedule
You’re going to want to be left alone as you try and figure out what happened to iOS. Most of you reading this post have seen screenshots, but for some, this will be their first time. Enjoy the subtle details, and try to be open about their new design choices. I’m torn on how I feel about it at the moment, but I wouldn’t say it’s bad. Just different. Definitely check out the settings area, listen to Siri, and check out some of the new features as listed on Apple’s website.
Back It Up
Make sure you create a fresh backup before updating to iOS7. It sure does suck when something screws up.
