Meet Flutter, a $20 wireless Arduino with a half-mile range.
>By James Lenhart
Flutter is another Arduino project that has found its way on to Kickstarter. The team is raising funding so they can get FCC certified, and build the software needed to get this thing off the ground. Until now, there hasn’t been an easy way to connect Arduino devices wirelessly. However, Flutter’s wireless system creates a network up to a half-mile radius. Pretty cool stuff.
The options are endless. A device like this will not only satisfy the everyday hobbyist, but has potential to shape the future of home automation and other emerging technology.
