Chandana Ekanayake, a dev for Monday Night Combat, posted an image on his twitter that would suggest Valve is indeed working on its next big title. He said he spotted a Valve employee wearing a HL3 t-shirt at a local gaming event. He tried questioning the Valve employee for more information, but of course he could offer no details.
It was rumored that Valve would be releasing Half-Life 2: Episode 3, but it would appear as though they are skipping the an add-on and going straight for Half-Life 3. Perhaps the employee found a shirt he shouldn’t be wearing, but if they’ve got them printed already one would assume the release isn’t too far in the future.
We will keep our eyes peeled for more info and updates.
