Amazon Kindle Fire Gets The CyanogenMod 7 Treatment
By James Lenhart

The Amazon Kindle Fire just got better with a version of CyanogenMod 7 that has most things working. It’s still in the alpha stage, but we’re sure that updates will be rolled out frequently as long as there are people to download it. We know many of you are looking forward to receiving the Kindle Fire as a gift, and things just got better if you’re a geek. Currently, CM7 for the Kindle Fire has Wi-Fi and touchscreen support. Sound and other aspects are still being worked on.
