Verizon 4G LTE Galaxy Nexus Videos Show up on Google’s YouTube Channel
By Christopher Weaver

If you’re like us, you’re sitting around waiting to here some exciting news about the Galaxy Nexus. Today Google added some getting started videos for the Galaxy Nexus on their YouTube channel that show Verizon and 4G stamps on the rear of the device. There are two videos title “Getting Started”, one with the tag “U.S.” which shows the Verizon logo on the phone, and one that doesn’t. This leads us to guess that Verizon may be the only U.S. carrier to offer this phone, even though we know it can handle frequencies of other U.S. carriers.

The deck seems to be stacked in favor of Verizon lately as they will have the Droid RAZR and the HTC Rezound, both of which are high quality top of the line Android phones. Considering the Galaxy Nexus is exactly what Google envisions Android should be, it would only make sense that they would offer it to all customer’s regardless of carrier. Especially considering the iPhone 4S is now available on 3 of the 4 major U.S. carriers. If Google has one phone that can really go toe-to-toe with the iPhone, but it isn’t on all the same carriers than it won’t be much of a fight.
