Today is the day you’ve been waiting for, the launch of the iPhone 4S. If you weren’t one of the one million people to pre-order your device, it’s time for you to hit the pavement and join the mob. To help you find your new iPhone 4S as quick as possible we have constructed a list of retail stores that will carry it. The iPhone 4S can still be ordered from Apple online if you don’t like standing in lines and can wait 1 to 2 weeks for your phone to arrive,.
Apple Store
Be part of the Apple culture and get in line. With over 300 stores worldwide there’s a chance you might be close to one. Stores will open today at 8:00 a.m. so make sure you show up early if you want to get your new iPhone.
Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T Stores
This is the first time Sprint is part of the iPhone line, and will therefore only be offering the iPhone 4S. Verizon will of course be offering the iPhone 4S, but will be offering the iPhone 4 at a reduced rate starting at $99 for the 8GB model. AT&T will offer the iPhone 4S, the iPhone 4 also starting at $99, but will also be giving away the iPhone 3GS 8GB for free. Opening times vary by store, here’s where you can find store hours and locations for Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T.
Best Buy
Hopefully you pre-ordered your iPhone 4S if you are buying from Best Buy. If so, you can go pick up your phone at the store, if not you might get lucky. Certain Best Buy locations have retained a limited stock for walk in customers. Call your local store to see what there game plan is, or just go get in line and cross your fingers.
Radio Shack
Similarly to Best Buy, hopefully you’ve pre-ordered. If so, some stores will be opening at 8 a.m. for you to pick it up. If not you’ll want to be the first one in line as there is only a small quantity for customers that did not pre-order. Phones will be sold for all 3 supported carriers.
Target
The iPhone 4S will be sold in the store’s mobile section, which opens at 11 a.m. in most locations. Pre-orders will be handled first and if any devices are left, they will be up for sale to any customer. Target will be selling phones for all 3 carriers.
Sam’s Club
Sam’s will be fulfilling their pre-orders before any other customers get a chance. Keep in mind if you are not a Sam’s Club Member that you will need to purchase a membership to even get through the doors.
Walmart
This is your last chance. Only available in select stores, and on AT&T. Call your local Wal-Mart, or run down there right now to see if you can pick up this legendary device today.
