Facebook has taken the wraps off it’s latest creation which we thought was going to be released sooner, but we can’t sit and complain about something that’s free. Yes, we’re talking about the Facebook app for iPad that works on both versions of the iPad. New features include the support for high-res photos, games, and overall just a better experience for iPad users wishing to use Facebook.

The app for iPad is the same binary for the iPod Touch and iPhone versions of the app, so you can expect either great security and support on all platforms, or the complete opposite.

We know many of you have already tried the iPad ahead of time, but we suggest heading here to get the real deal. Check out the pictures after the break.
