Starting off with the iPod touch which will be offered in black and white for $199 and will come running the latest version of iOS. Next up we have the iPod Nano that starts at $129 and will include 16 new digital clock faces with improved fitness features.

The coolest thing out of today’s news could quite possibly be the announcement of iOS 5 which is fully supported on the fourth and third-generation iPod touch, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, and first-generation iPad.

iPod Touch owners can take full advantage of iCloud features and can get their hands on the new device starting October 12th.

There is not a solution by Apple (iTunes), although, I’m pretty sure you could find a 3rd party solution.

If you’re getting the iPhone 4S, or even the 4 there isn’t any need for an iPod unless you want something that isn’t your phone.
