Apple Introduces New iPhone Pricing Strategy for 3GS, 4, and 4S
>By James Lenhart
For some, today may not have been what you were hoping for, but for others it gives them a chance to experience iOS at a much lower price than before. We feel today’s announcement could mean huge success for Apple throughout this quarter and into next year. Starting off with the least expensive we have the older model iPhone 3GS which is priced at $0.00 for customers wanting a new contract. Next up the chain we have the iPhone 4 (Apple’s best-seller) which will start at $99 for the 8GB model — a first time offering. And last but certainly not least we have the newest addition, the iPhone 4s which is set to start at $199 for the 16GB model. If you desire more storage you’ll be excited to know they are offering the 32GB at $299, and for the first time ever we have a 64GB at $399. The iPhone 4S will begin sale on October 14th, and all of the aforementioned will support iOS 5 which is rolling out on October 12th.
Most people looking to get a smart phone with their favorite apps will turn to the iPhone just because of the different options, and now the affordability of such a device. It’s also great news that the iPhone 4S has made improvements on the antenna, and will be offered on Sprint — the third largest carrier in the US.
