Well hello, glad you could make it. Here’s a fresh gaming roundup, on the house.

Summary:
This game has gradually gained my interest over the past little bit. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it when I saw the first trailer, but the more I see the more I like. It looks a lot like other first person shooters, but you have a “nano suit” so you can do super-human type stuff. There is a demo in the XBOX Marketplace, and be sure to check out the video and click the “More Videos” link.

Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy

Summary:
People are saying some really good things about this game around the ‘net. I don’t know much about this game or even this series, but the gameplay doesn’t look bad. You don’t even have to get off your couch if you want it, just hit up the PlayStation Store.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

Summary:
The latest installment of lego star wars came this week. I personally don’t really like the lego games very much, but you should definitely check it out for yourself. There is a PlayStation demo available weighing in at 844MB, and I’m pretty sure there is one for the 360 as well.

Summary:
All your favorite Sony heroes together, being controller by your PlayStation magic wand. Sounds interesting. Some of these heroes had to be re-created for this new PS3 environment, and all of them received a touch-up so that the graphics would look nice and smooth. Pick up the demo from the PlayStation Store, but be waned, it’s almost 2 gigs.

The Sims Medieval offers players a chance to build up a medieval kingdom, controlling characters from all walks of life, from Kings and Queens, to Knights and Wizards, Blacksmiths and Bards. The provides a host of storytelling possibilities in the form of quests, from crafting a legendary sword to arranging a royal wedding, to protecting the kingdom from an evil sorcerer, to finding the fountain of youth. Every quest plays out differently depending on which Hero Sim the player is controlling.
The destiny of the kingdom rests in the players’ hands. Will players build up their kingdom through internal expansion, or perhaps look for a more imperial type of domination, expanding their rule by conquering territories? Will they take on quests in pursuit of fame, or focus on the health and wellbeing of their people? The choice is theirs! Everything in The Sims Medieval is crafted to create an immersive medieval world, from the quest-based gameplay, to the medieval objects such as swords and stocks and thrones, right down to the warm look of the characters, and the painterly approach to the world itself. Players can choose to customize every new Hero that comes to the kingdom, including selecting their traits and their fatal flaw. Players get close to their characters, not only sending them on epic quests, but also making sure they carry out their daily responsibilities such as healing the sick, trading for exotic goods, or forging armor. From having a baby to competing in a royal tournament, what happens to their Sims is up to the player. The time of romance and chivalry is back with The Sims Medieval.
Summary:
This has to be one of the most ridiculous trailers for a game I’ve seen in a long time. BAM! Poison all up in yo body!
