Platform(s): DS, PC, Wii
Description:
Challenge Me: Brain Puzzles 2 brings more brain boggling number puzzles with seven great games, including Sudoku, Towers, Number Soup and Squares. With most puzzles generated from new each time you start a game, there are limitless possibilities!
Summary:
Another mind numbing game for the Nintendo Wii.

Couldn’t find a video on this one…. Post a link to a video if you know where one is, but here is a page full of screenshots in the meantime.

LittleBigPlanet 2
Release Date: 01/18/11
Platform(s): PS3
Description:
LittleBigPlanet 2 begins with a unique story mode that provides a beautifully reshaped world for Sackboy to explore and play. Each story level is influenced by cultural high points in history.
Players can reset the controller buttons for any object and change the rules to any level through an ability called Direct Control and multiplayer abilities advance the types of games possible for a social/competitive experience. Users are able to link levels together to provide longer gameplay experiences without the breakup of going back to the Pod and can see what LittleBigPlanet 2 levels/games their friends are playing via activity steams.
Summary:
This game just looks incredible. I played LittleBigPlanet 1 for a while and it is so addictive and fun. The developers seem to have made a sequel correctly with this one. All the previous custom levels still work, and they have expanded on the level creator. I can see big things happening with this game.

Mass Effect 2
Release Date: 01/18/11
Platform(s): 360, PC, PS3
Description:
Once again stepping into the role of the heroic Commander Shepard, gamers command their crew on a suicide mission in space. Players must assemble their squad from amongst the galaxy’s most powerful mystics, geniuses, and convicts and lead them on a suicide mission to discover why humans are vanishing from the galaxy. The success of the mission hinges on the squad recruited and their loyalty to the mission. Shepard’s future depends on it.
Summary:
I haven’t played Mass Effect 1, so I can’t comment very much as far as this being a sequel goes. However, this game looks pretty fun. It seems to be an over-the-shoulder third-person style game, and it looks as good as any i’ve seen. The graphics and physics look great, and should prove to be a pretty fun game. I’ll post more when I know more.

Mindjack
Release Date: 01/18/11
Platform(s): 360, PS3
Description:
A new era. Sophisticated and complex technologies are now contributing to the advancements of mankind. However, the world’s governments are crumbling, new corrupt powers arise and conspiracies proliferate. The truth behind the proscribed technology could destroy the very core of humanity. Join a rogue team of agents as they fight for survival and entangle themselves deeper into the mystery.
Drawing upon the graphics and storytelling mastery of both Square Enix and developer feelplus, Mindjack offers a distinctive experience that throws players into a revolutionary playing field where an engaging solo campaign transitions seamlessly to thrilling, cooperative multiplayer gameplay. Expand your mind’s reach by “hacking” into enemies, vehicles or civilians and enjoy the freedom to control almost any character. Each bystander becomes an active combatant in this new urban warfare. Your “state of mind” is your only limitation!
Summary:
This game just looks cool. I don’t know how else to put it. You hack into people minds to gain control of them and their weapons or strategic positions, or whatever advantage that specific mind may supply. Very original idea for gameplay, I can’t wait to try it out.

PDC World Championship Darts 2010
Release Date: 01/18/11
Platform(s): DS, Wii
Description:
PDC World Championship Darts 2009 completely rebuilds its Wii Remote throwing method, comes with greatly improved graphics, includes new game modes, and new champions to challenge.
Summary:
I like darts. I like video games. Seems like the combo could work. Especially with motion control. The previous game in this series got some pretty bad reviews, mostly for the motion controls, but this game says they have redesigned them. Seems weird that its the 2010 version getting released in 2011 though…
Video:
This game is being overshadowed by their next game, “PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour” which is being released across all console platforms. I couldn’t seem to find a video that fit just right, so i’ll let you decide.

Plants Vs. Zombies
Release Date: 01/18/11
Platform(s): DS
Description:
Help! The zombies have invaded! And don’t look now, but they’re coming for you next! You’ll need to think fast and plant faster to fend off this mob of helmet-clad, pole-vaulting zombies.
The DS adaptation features all of the engaging gameplay featured in the original version, including Adventure, Survival and Puzzle modes, and mini-games, as well as exclusive game content.
Summary:
Great game. I played this game for PC a while ago, and downloaded it to my iPhone as soon as it was released there. If you haven’t had a chance to check this one out, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

UPDATE: Found Plants Vs. Zombies on the Google Chrome Web Store. Comes with a free trial. Clickage

Ys I & II Chronicles
Release Date: 01/18/11
Platform(s): PSP
Description:
Ys I&II Chronicles is a remake of the classic first two games in the Ys franchise. This PSP version is based off a 2001 PC remake of the games, but promises new sound and graphics.
Summary:
A little be of nostalgia for anyone who played these older games. Basically just a remake for your PSP, but with updated sound and graphics. I’ve never personally played these, but gameplay looks fun and could be a good buy for your PSP
Video:
The only trailer I could find was in Japanese, so have this instead!
